"I did a placement at Shape back in August where I was working mainly on designs for a Web template. Jason and Jamie gave me feedback on the work I produced and they both helped me to improve my designs. The studio culture was relaxed, it felt comfortable to work in and it was a good laugh. I was privileged to be one of the first people to work in their new studio too.
Since Shape I gained full-time employment as a Web Designer and the skills I learnt from Shape have helped me massively and…
"My time at shape was lovely I have always admired the work they do, and I was very chuffed to find out that I had been offered a month placement with the boys! The commute to get to the studio was pretty simple as it was around the corner! I learnt so much with Shape about web design and the studio lifestyle, and I have come away with a great experience, some lovely memories and a mind full of web! Andy especially helped me in showing me how to create extremely slick and cool sites, something which I have…

"Recently I have completed a work placement at MadebyShape. During my time I worked with the team on a variety of projects, from designing the layout of an upcoming studio project - from research to final design stage, to working on character illustrations for a children’s sporting venture. Having never really done much illustration work in my time at college and university the experience was great! OK, so we feel bad for not doing movember in our new studio, so Andy shot a little something on set the other day in between shoots. The lovely Anabela was our model, and the sweet t-shirt just happened to be what she turned up to the shoot in! A lovely coincidence! We've seen a few other designers wearing the moustache this year, and let's just say that it suits some more than others! haha, so here's our little something to the wonderful world of creativity.

Sometimes things don't go quite to plan no matter what precautions you put in place to make sure they go right. This was very much the case for Paul and Pete when it came not only to opening their new practice but to my photographing it. The decorators had only been gone a few hours before I got there and I was greeted with lush green glass panels and a very sleek and stylish interior – surprisingly comfy though and the guys themselves looked after me all day.
We worked through my shot list and I found that…
